Blog page for the summer lip synch practice
The summer lessons this year will see you learn how to lip synch in preparation for your advanced production coursework that will start in September. You will be given a 70s disco track and must storyboard the first verse and one chorus. You will have 1 lesson to film and 2 lessons to learn to lip synch and edit. We advise you to film several base tracks and to take the camera off the tripod to practice your moving camerawork.
Summer Work
Don't forget to complete your summer work during the August break. You can find a copy of the handout on 'blackboard' or just ask one of your teachers. The work must be bought to the first media studies lesson back after the holidays. You will be named and shamed if you don't complete it!
What should you include in your blog?
Your blog is the space for you to record the planning, filming and editing process that you go through when creating your mini pop video. Each group member will need to include their own entries and must label their postings with their name so that the work can be attributed to the correct person (and your teachers know you've done some work!).
